The Soldier

This is a soldier I drew at school. I wanted to draw an old-fashioned American soldier, from when they were fighting the Red Coats.

I just called my brother a butt-brain because he has a brain in the place of a butt and the butt is in the place of the brain.

Today I made a little cup out of clay at school. Noah came to play. I went to swimming lessons and now I am acting like a lame brain and watching Ed, Edd and Eddie on TV.

Goodnight!

  1. Hei Aidan

    Farfar

  2. This is a wonderful drawing, Aidan! So much attention to detail - it looks very authentic and I know only because of what I have seen in books ~ contrary to popular opinion, I was NOT alive during the American Revolution!

Will you be 'firing' the clay cup or will it harden on its own? Can it be used to drink from or will you hold objects in it? Did you enjoy the process? I still have things mommy and Tante made in school when they were your age.

Well, what can I say, Tye is Tye and you must be used to him by now even on those days when his brain goes south.

What in the world is Ed, Edd & Eddie about? I'm a real lame brain about current TV programs.

Have a good week, not too boring, not too smelly,
    ama

  3. Aidan, I just dragged your picture to my iTunes artwork for The Battle of New Orleans by Johnny Horton (I made sure to give you credit as the artist in the song Info) ~ have mommy or papa play it for you sometime. I thought it was a fun song in my childhood although it's not about the American Revolution, they were fighting the British in that battle.
