Crazy Polar Bear on Tye's Birthday

Um, on Tye's birthday we went to the zoo, we saw all the animals and then we went to the polar bears and then we went inside and then the polar bears have like a swimming pool thingie and inside you can see all the water, how deep it is and then you saw Vicks the young polar bear and he was swimming under water and like trying to eat our hands when our hands were on the glass. It was very funny, a lot of people were watching that, it was very funny. He kept diving to a little boy and trying to eat him but the boy was behind the glass and the little boy didn't even notice he was there!

Sniper training

Today mommy picked me up from school and she said fast - I have tickets for the sniper exhibition. And it was very fun and we were shooting targets and I was the pro. I think.

Tye says - I hit the target and I had a gilly suit on and Aidan too. I also did a knights tournament on a horse skippy ball with a sword and helmet.

Master Disaster of Lego

Yesterday I was in the Lego Speed Competition, the first time I ever signed up for anything!

It was really fun but I didn't win. I did get to keep the airplane model we all built. I was 3rd and the 1st prize was this little Lego game was awesome little people and in that game you had these knights and troll thingies and then you have a base of knights and trolls and then at the bases they had these little weapons. And the winner was cheating! Everybody said that. He already opened the box when we weren't allowed to open it yet.

Today we went to a dog show and saw puggies, Australian shepherds, Vislas, Boston and French bulldogs and I saw collies, corgies, chihuahuas and German shepherds and a Czechoslovakian wolf dog.

Now I am done. Cole I miss you and I am going to send a picture of my airplane. It is the same one you have at Ama's. Give Roscoe a hug from me and from pappa too.

The jungle

We have a vegetable garden and we planted courgettes (zucchini for the Americans) and lettuce and carrots and pumpkins and sunflowers and tomatoes and peas.

Now it became a monster, a jungle! The courgette is taking over the garden! The courgette was 704 grams and 31 cms. How is mommy going to eat that? They won't stop growing!! We are real farmers, says Tye.

I have a sunburn but it is almost over. It hurt when I pitched but not yesterday.

The World Port Tournament

Yesterday we went to the World Port Tournament and we saw The Netherlands and Germany play baseball. Somebody hit a foul ball and it bounced almost against some peoples head and they jumped away and was scared. And then it bounced and I got the ball. When we walked home we saw lots of rabbits.

Today I went with pappa to a softball tournament and they lost all the games, and pappa got injured (pulled hamstring). But he played well until he got injured, he got four hits and caught two fly balls.

Last Thursday it was my birthday. I got a Lego Technics car/quad and a Lego board game and a Lego Pirates of the Caribbean - the Fountain of Youth.

Now I have to take a shower because I'm dirty, pappa says.

Tye's Birthday

I had a lot of presents. I got two Ninjagos and I got two Lego Star Wars and one big clone.

We went to the zoo and we had a lot of fun and we saw a lot of snakes and we saw a crocodile and a baby polar bear and that's everything.

We just had a skull cupcake with chocolate chips and frosting, it was yummy.

This was me playing at todays game. I was the closing pitcher , I only pitched the third inning. I had three strike outs and I gave up a homerun. And when I was at bat I only struck out today. We lost 11 to 8 :-(

Tye also played a game today and they won

Yesterday I did the "Duinenmars" and I walked 10km (6 miles). I was sooo tired when I got home, I was like a zombie.

The Pitching Champ

This was me at my baseball game and I was the starting pitcher. The first inning was a perfect inning, three strikeouts. The second inning I gave up two runs. The third inning was a bit harder than the second one because my arm was getting a little bit tired. For the last batter in the third inning I was replaced by another pitcher.

My first time at bat I hit ginormous line drive and I got to seccond base. Then I stole third base and then home base. The seccond time at bat I hit another double. And the I stole third and home again. The third time at bat I hit a good single, and then stole seccond, third and home base. The catchers were having a hard time.

I think I'm done now. Tye's playing a game tommorow.

Tye's team

This is my baseball team. My favorite team is Giants. My another favorite team is the Cardinals! And the Detroit Tigers! And the White Sox.

Blue Birds is my team. I hit almost a home run. Tomorrow I play another game, the Birds. I am going to hit a home run all the way to the pupillen 1! (That is the big boy team).

That is all. I am making a Lego baseball field. Darth Vader is the empire (he means umpire).

Adventure Day

This was from last Sunday. I was at Knus with Graham, Kiran and Christi and we were playing a kind of Star Wars, um, we had sticks and we were shooting at each other and I made a hut. Um...I climbed up in the hut and it was super awesome.

I am home with a tummy ache today but tomorrow I have my first baseball game and I am the starting pitcher.

Last Friday I fell in the water. I was in my friend Sten's kayak and we gave these boys a ride on the boat and first they were rocking back and forth and Sten was pushing the boat in the water and then the boat wwnt boom! plunge! and almost all the boys fell in the water, except Sten. I was wet! It was not fun.

The snake expert

This was at my friend Noah's birthday party were we went to the zoo. It was a bit of a drive but we got there. And then we needed to go the guide's room and there we saw stuffed animals stading in the room. I saw a stuffed Kaiman and a Moongoose. And then we to look at the wolf when they were eating. They were eating ribs and spines. The we went to the lions and we got to shoot with a tranquilizer blow pipe at a picture of a lion. Then we went to see Bokito (the big gorilla who escaped from his cage a couple of years a ago and almost killed a woman). There we looked at what the gorillas ate. After the gorillas we went to see the hyenas. The baby hyena is lot bigger then the last time we saw him. Then we went to the vultures and they were eating the head of a horse. The last stop was the guides house were we got to hold a snake. It was a rat snake. Afterwards we went to the resturant and had french fries. When we came back to Delft I asked if I could spend the night at Noah's house and I could. Then we went to his house and played with Playmobil, then we watched some tv and the we played on the Wii Monsterjam and then we watched more tv and then we went to bed. Noah is really giggely and ticklish.

Darth Vader skiing again

This was Darth Vader going skiing. First it was a little bit scary because I didn´t warm up. Tye was also a little bit scared because it was the first time he went down a steep hill. But the Tye got better and better. Then Tye fell and Farfar tripped over him and fell on his butt. Tye was laughing and Farfar to. The I got super good and won every race downhill.

Then we had a Kit-Kat break and later we had a waffle break.

And then I went two times down the hill and then we went home.

Afterwards we went outside again to try my new sled. I went downhill a lot and then I went home.

And then we played Ludo, and now I´m doing a blog.

Next time I will tell you what I got for Christmas.

The Evil Haircut

Um, this was me when I got shaved! I did not like it.
It hurt, I never ever ever always want to do it again because it is funner than being at the haircut place because she is creepy (no she is not says mom!).
Today I went to Ikea and drank 3 cups of lingonberry juice and I ate an ice cream which was yummy and I ate the fastest of the world.
My friend Sten came to play and we played the kids take over the world with Playmobil.
It is the last night that I can set my shoe.

The autographed ball

Today I went to this baseball clinic with Major League players. They taught us things about playing baseball, like fielding, throwing and hitting. There were players from the Florida Marlins and the Baltimore Orioles. There were also players from the Dutch team. After we got done we were waiting in line to meet the players and pappa gave me a ball for them to sign. Afterwards I got a bag with a superlarge Orioles t-shirt and a Orioles hat and a Snickers bar. Tuesday I am doing it again in Rotterdam.

Karate Monster vs. Karate Alien

This was a picture what I drawed at home just a few minutes ago before I was doing this blog and uh...hmmm and I did a baseball clinic today.
I was trained by the Dutch national team and I learned fielding, outfield, another time fielding and pitching and tomorrow I am gonna hit balls and play a game. Lennard came with me. It was COLD COLD freezing!!!!!!!!!!! And I was freezing my butt off, I couldn't stand it, I had a long sleeve shirt and my baseball shirt and my rain jacket and my Giants sweatshirt and I was still cold. It was fun but super cold.
I am happy the Giants are in the playoffs.
I lost my tooth and first the tooth fairy could not find it and then I put it on my pillow and when I came home there were 2 Euro's on it!
I went to the Monster Jam Monster Truck Rally with my friend Sten and Gravedigger won the racing and the freestyle. There were freestyle motorcross and everything was free, even you can get these little monster truck toys that were just for free! (Note from mom - he was in the VIP section). And there were these old bumped up race cars who were racing 3 times, they were doing 3 laps.
Tye has a black eye. That's bad. He was running up the stairs and he fell down the stairs and the next day - a black eye came on his eye.
And now you can call me not Aidan but you can call me Captain SeaPee because so many people pronounce my name a bit wrong and I don't like that. They called me Eye-ee-dan today. It is Aidan!
and now I have 44 Euro saved up and umm...Tye is getting irritating and irritating.
Tomorrow I am going to baseball and good night and call me Captain SeaPee.

The winning game

This was last Saturday when we played against the American team (American School in Den Haag). And we won, 24-14. I made 8 out in a row when I played first base in the second inning. The coach from the other team then came and took my glove, and then threw it back again. He was upset that none of his players got to first base. I think he was joking.

I have started reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It's a very exciting book, with more than 300 pages. It's not hard to read.

I have to go to bed and read now.

The cutest thing

When I was with my friend Noah we went to the zoo on Wednesday and we saw the cutest thing on earth: a baby hyena. It was cute, it was brown with no tail and it looked like a baby bear. And when we went past the hyenas we saw a baby monkey. It was little monkey and this other monkey was jumping on the tree and the baby almost fell off.

Today I did a baseball boot camp. We practiced with batting, fielding and throwing. Afterwards they were sliding on a big piece of wet plastic but I didn't wanna do it. My friend Cendric was there too for the first time.

The Grosser Gross

When I was building a Lego, my Lego thingies feel under the drawers in the kitchen and I went to look for them and I saw this old smeerworst and I uh, first I showed it to Tye and then I went up to show it to mommy and then I decided to take a picture and that is it.

GROSS! It is so old and moldy. It rolled under the drawers. 

I have krentenbaard (impetigo in English). It itches. And now it is going super good, it is almost gone. 

Tye says - tomorrow is Thijs' birthday party and tomorrow is the little baby shower. After lunch we will do the baby shower. Thijs will be 4. I am 4. 

The Mole

On the way back home, we saw this man looking and then mommy saw a mole!

The man was looking at the mole with his dog and we turned back to look at it and some lady almost ran it over with a scooter!

We put him in a cup and put him back in the wild. Note from mom - Aidan was great! He saw a plastic cup and said we should pick him up with that. He said you should not pick them up with your hands.  They can get really sick that way. 

First I thought it was a mouse and then I thought it was a lemming because he looked round and brown and then mommy said, hey, it's a mole. He had really big claws.

Crazy Aidan

This was me up at the top - crazy! And my friend came over, called Sten. I went to school and I worked and school was done, then Sten came with me to my house and we played, played with the Lego and then he went away and then we ate dinner and I played with the Lego for a minute and I waited and I went up and now I am doing a blog.
And that is it.
There is a Canadian girl in my class and there is going to come an American boy too. The Canadian girl is my koeppelkind (note from mom - she is placed with him so he can help her with all kinds of things this year). Anneke has the American boy.
