Darth Vader skiing again

This was Darth Vader going skiing. First it was a little bit scary because I didn´t warm up. Tye was also a little bit scared because it was the first time he went down a steep hill. But the Tye got better and better. Then Tye fell and Farfar tripped over him and fell on his butt. Tye was laughing and Farfar to. The I got super good and won every race downhill.

Then we had a Kit-Kat break and later we had a waffle break.

And then I went two times down the hill and then we went home.

Afterwards we went outside again to try my new sled. I went downhill a lot and then I went home.

And then we played Ludo, and now I´m doing a blog.

Next time I will tell you what I got for Christmas.

The Evil Haircut

Um, this was me when I got shaved! I did not like it.
It hurt, I never ever ever always want to do it again because it is funner than being at the haircut place because she is creepy (no she is not says mom!).
Today I went to Ikea and drank 3 cups of lingonberry juice and I ate an ice cream which was yummy and I ate the fastest of the world.
My friend Sten came to play and we played the kids take over the world with Playmobil.
It is the last night that I can set my shoe.

Today I went to this baseball clinic with Major League players. They taught us things about playing baseball, like fielding, throwing and hitting. There were players from the Florida Marlins and the Baltimore Orioles. There were also players from the Dutch team. After we got done we were waiting in line to meet the players and pappa gave me a ball for them to sign. Afterwards I got a bag with a superlarge Orioles t-shirt and a Orioles hat and a Snickers bar. Tuesday I am doing it again in Rotterdam.

Karate Monster vs. Karate Alien

This was a picture what I drawed at home just a few minutes ago before I was doing this blog and uh...hmmm and I did a baseball clinic today.
I was trained by the Dutch national team and I learned fielding, outfield, another time fielding and pitching and tomorrow I am gonna hit balls and play a game. Lennard came with me. It was COLD COLD freezing!!!!!!!!!!! And I was freezing my butt off, I couldn't stand it, I had a long sleeve shirt and my baseball shirt and my rain jacket and my Giants sweatshirt and I was still cold. It was fun but super cold.
I am happy the Giants are in the playoffs.
I lost my tooth and first the tooth fairy could not find it and then I put it on my pillow and when I came home there were 2 Euro's on it!
I went to the Monster Jam Monster Truck Rally with my friend Sten and Gravedigger won the racing and the freestyle. There were freestyle motorcross and everything was free, even you can get these little monster truck toys that were just for free! (Note from mom - he was in the VIP section). And there were these old bumped up race cars who were racing 3 times, they were doing 3 laps.
Tye has a black eye. That's bad. He was running up the stairs and he fell down the stairs and the next day - a black eye came on his eye.
And now you can call me not Aidan but you can call me Captain SeaPee because so many people pronounce my name a bit wrong and I don't like that. They called me Eye-ee-dan today. It is Aidan!
and now I have 44 Euro saved up and umm...Tye is getting irritating and irritating.
Tomorrow I am going to baseball and good night and call me Captain SeaPee.

The winning game

This was last Saturday when we played against the American team (American School in Den Haag). And we won, 24-14. I made 8 out in a row when I played first base in the second inning. The coach from the other team then came and took my glove, and then threw it back again. He was upset that none of his players got to first base. I think he was joking.

I have started reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It's a very exciting book, with more than 300 pages. It's not hard to read.

I have to go to bed and read now.

The cutest thing

When I was with my friend Noah we went to the zoo on Wednesday and we saw the cutest thing on earth: a baby hyena. It was cute, it was brown with no tail and it looked like a baby bear. And when we went past the hyenas we saw a baby monkey. It was little monkey and this other monkey was jumping on the tree and the baby almost fell off.

Today I did a baseball boot camp. We practiced with batting, fielding and throwing. Afterwards they were sliding on a big piece of wet plastic but I didn't wanna do it. My friend Cendric was there too for the first time.

The Grosser Gross

When I was building a Lego, my Lego thingies feel under the drawers in the kitchen and I went to look for them and I saw this old smeerworst and I uh, first I showed it to Tye and then I went up to show it to mommy and then I decided to take a picture and that is it.

GROSS! It is so old and moldy. It rolled under the drawers. 

I have krentenbaard (impetigo in English). It itches. And now it is going super good, it is almost gone. 

Tye says - tomorrow is Thijs' birthday party and tomorrow is the little baby shower. After lunch we will do the baby shower. Thijs will be 4. I am 4. 

The Mole

On the way back home, we saw this man looking and then mommy saw a mole!

The man was looking at the mole with his dog and we turned back to look at it and some lady almost ran it over with a scooter!

We put him in a cup and put him back in the wild. Note from mom - Aidan was great! He saw a plastic cup and said we should pick him up with that. He said you should not pick them up with your hands.  They can get really sick that way. 

First I thought it was a mouse and then I thought it was a lemming because he looked round and brown and then mommy said, hey, it's a mole. He had really big claws.

Crazy Aidan

This was me up at the top - crazy! And my friend came over, called Sten. I went to school and I worked and school was done, then Sten came with me to my house and we played, played with the Lego and then he went away and then we ate dinner and I played with the Lego for a minute and I waited and I went up and now I am doing a blog.
And that is it.
There is a Canadian girl in my class and there is going to come an American boy too. The Canadian girl is my koeppelkind (note from mom - she is placed with him so he can help her with all kinds of things this year). Anneke has the American boy.
I said, that's it!

The Tree

What a day! We went to pick up our steps (scooters) at Mommy's office and then we left and 30 seconds later, a HUGE tree just fell out of the ground, no one chopped it over, it just went BOOM! 

It fell on a van waiting at the stop light. We ran over. And police came and the firemen came, it was a busy, busy day. I guess the roots were not good anymore. It just fell over!

If we had came out of the office 1 minute later, the tree would have fallen right on us. We would have been smooshed and dead. Nicks's Audi was ok, almost smooshed but ok and this other expensive car almost got smooshed too. It was a weird day. And I hope this is going to be on the news tonight. 

BMX

Tye says - I am cycling on Aidan's old bike and I ride super good and I am drinking a lot of water and I am being drunk. 

We celebrated later by having 4 scoops of ice cream (it was not 4 scoops says mommy). 

I can blast like lightning.

Home again

No pictures today. We spent 11 hours in the car and our brains are smagoogled.
So, back in Delft. A few more days with Ama.
Austria was great! A lot like Tahoe. The food was far too salty and everything had ham on it. I won't miss the food. I will miss Seefeld, I liked it there.
On our last day we rented bikes and rode around. Went to the FREEZING cold river and played in the turquoise mermaid water. A good way to end our trip.
And Tye didn't throw up on me today!

Il Vomitare

Tye says - We are going to Italy and we got some cookies and chippies and we are going to sleep in the car. 

Amy says - oh my, what a day. This is towards to end of our scenic drive to Italy, where Tye threw up on himself and on me TWICE! Anders said, let's go for a drive over the mountains to Italy. Sure, we said. It twisted and turned and before I knew it, Tye had thrown up vanilla yogurt all over me.  Then we get to Merano, Italy. It is so damn hot, we can't do anything. Except have some lunch. And buy Tye some clean clothes. We get back in the car and twisty turny surprise - Tye throws up yet again, all over himself and me. Pizza and apple juice this time.  Then he fell asleep but by that time the damage had been done. NEVER AGAIN! 

Yes, it was gorgeous but remember to always check to make sure your children are not prone to car sickness prior to embarking upon the steepest, twisty-turny, tummy lurching drive ever. 

I demand a present now. It is no fun being puked on twice in one day.

Alpine Zoo

This was a picture, this is the coolest zoo, the Alpen Zoo. We saw bears, this bird, moose, a baby moose with a broken leg, what else did we see? A lynx, bison, wolves, mountain goats. We saw marmots. 

We went to Innsbruck and we ate ginormous ice creams shaped like roses. They were really good. And now I think Tye needs to do something.

Tye says - my picture is the vulture. Um, we were going to the vultures and then we saw a baby moose with a broken leg and a big pappa with big antlers and a mommy was there and just the wolves we saw and the bears and the brown bear and a normal bear and went to eat by Innsbruck. And then I will throw Uncle Peter in the trash can.  And bla bla bla.

Amy says - We did go to the zoo today, a great zoo. The best part was the baby lynx and the bears. Yesterday we went swimming at the worlds greatest swimming pool. Deep pool, shallow pool, baby pool, outside pool, water slides and you can get out of the water and walk upstairs to the restaurant! In your suit! Yummy pizza in my tummy.

I cannot forgot to mention Jesus and the slugs but that is another story. Quite literally.

Is it Friday today?

Amy says - Today we went to Leutasch, to the Goblin Gorge. A lovely walk through the gorge, across a series of bridges. Water the color of turquoise. When I grow up I am going to become a mermaid and live there. 

We stopped halfway to have a tasty beverage and Tye found the water can! It was a hot day and who can resist dunking your head on a hot day? After we visited the waterfall - freezing cold back there. Then back up through the forest. We saw a mouse!

Catty was back in the house tonight but she has left again. It has been glorious weather, perfect for iced tea and ice cream. What will tomorrow bring?

I am watching Oops,  a funny show about all these people doing funny things. The rest of the day was boring. Just kidding. I went mountain biking, that was fun. I went uphill and won all the races against farfar and pappa. We tried to catch fish at the lake with my butterfly net. Later we went into Seefeld and it rained. It rained on a sunny day!

Tye - we saw an ant pulling a dead bee. I wore my new skull head swimming trunks and tried to catch minnows. The worlds longest slug we saw on our back door.

Amy - it rained, it poured. An old granny will be snoring tonight. We decided we don't need to buy cuckoo clocks because we have a house full! And tomorrow we plan to actually DO something. 

First day in Seefeld

Ummmm, bleeee. This is a picture that pappa takes when we were taking a walk to the stores. I got a butterfly net and a big knuffel dog (knuffel being stuffed animal in Dutch).

Farfar visited us today and I will go mountain biking with pappa and farfar in the morning. 

Tye says - Catty is the house cat who wants to come in our house every morning and then I saw Catty as I was waking up today. Catty was scared and now is he gone.

Tomorrow vacation!

Aidan and Tye have drifted off to sleep, tomorrow we are off early to Austria.  We'll do our best to post a blog each day to let you know what we have been up to.

Today we tried to do something cultural but realized too late that all museums seem to be closed on Monday. The only thing left to do is have a sword fight in the back yard with your granny! 

Aidan's homerun

This was a baseball tournament and we played three games one day. We won two games and lost one. This is a picture of me when we played a little bit good team. I hit a homerun. In total I had one HR, two doubles and three singles. I played first base and shortstop.

There was a radar gun at the tournament and I threw 63 km/h (40mph).

On Saturday we have another tournament with four games on one day. And on Wednesday it is my birthday. Soon I will have summer vacation.

Pappa, Tye and I were at the zoo and we were looking at the raccoons and then pappa said they were going to be fed. First in the cage there were no raccoons and then 10 raccoons came running to us. They were being fed, I think, doggie food and vegetables or something. Oranges and tomatoes.


Uh, I will swim for my B diploma tomorrow. I am a bit nervous.


My birthday is almost gonna be. I am going to have a swimming party. 3 weeks and 5 days!

I watched the alligator. I took a picture. I saw another one. I saw the hyenas. I saw the giraffes and I saw the lions and I saw the...sea lions. The sharks, turtles, king crab and one king crab sat on the other.
I didn't eat the snack at school today. At Plukkebol I ate 6 breads with smeerkaas, smeerworst, pindakaas, kipfilet, ham and hagelslag.

The Mongoose Fox

Mommy and I went to the zoo to meet mommy's friend but she was not there yet so we were going to look at the animals and the first animal we saw was a mongoose fox! He just sat there and looked at us. I got a good picture.

We saw giraffes, some alligators, porcipines, um...meercats, we saw hyenas. The hyenas were eating cows stomachs! We thought they were eating dirty, wet, yellow rags and I asked the helper what is was. Yuck! She said it cow stomachs!

Today I went with Plukkebol to go to um, a museum (the Museon). We scanned with papers and then we could look at all these movies about little things like lobsters at the bottom of the sea and you saw things that are like vacuum cleaners of the sea, they clean everything up and my friend and me were looking at a movie and then you saw little tiny sea slugs were eating a big fish. I saw worms, a lobster eating a hairy worm. It was a fun museum. We looked bones of other things and fishes and you could see a statue of a giraffe and then his bones. You could also see birds like this too. Of a stork.

El Stinko

The new cast

Today I got a new cast on my arm. I chose a black cast. I was waiting for hours and hours and hours before the doctor came. In one week I have to come back so that they can cut it, otherwise I can't go to Norway on an airplane. In two weeks I will go back and they will take it off. I don't need to wear a sling anymore and the cast is much lighter. Soon I can throw a ball again but I can't catch until they take the cast off. 

My baseball team played an American team (from the American school) and they won with one point. I wish I could have played.

It just watched baseball on tv and the Mets and the Phillies were playing. The Phillies won 11 to 5.

I have to go to bed soon.

The Broken Arm

I was playing outside when I felt someone pushing me. I fell really hard on my wrist. And now I have a broken wrist. We were playing something where you need to steal big rocks and you have to protect yourself and the way in. I did and I got hurt.

Pappa took me to the emergency room. First they felt everything and put a sling on and then we waited again. Then they took a picture and pappa saw that my bone was broken. They put the sling back on and wait again. Then they put the cast on. It is pretty heavy. 

And that is everything I think.

Today when I was watching a minute ago, I was looking at ESPN America. Tampa Bay Rays vs The Red Socks. The Rays are leading 8-0.

I have not been blogging because I have been having accidents! I crashed on my bike, I smashed up my ear and I ran into a tree with my cheek. But I am ok.

Tye wants to say - I feel on my knee. I had 2 boo-boo bands. And I have another boo-boo on my finger. And on my thumb. Whoa. That is good. 

I caught a really awesome line drive on Sunday! It was a hard ball but it did not hurt. Everyone said - WHOA! when I caught it. 

Tante had a baby on Saturday - PLEASE send us a picture of Doolin!

The Stink

The Homerun King Aidan

This was a picture of me batting during a game against the other Blue Birds team. I didn't hit a homerun :-(

The weather was really bad. First it was ok, then it was bad. It was rainy and cold. We played two games, the third team didn't show up. I played shortstop and first base. The weather was not fun!

Yesterday pappa and I set a world reccord: we caught 750 balls in one day. Today pappas arm hurt and mine doesn't. Today we went from 750 to 1020. Pappas shoulder hurts :-)

Two days ago I lost my tooth in the middle of the night when I sleeping. Mummy was happy but I am little mad because now I can't scare her. My other front tooth is also loose.

Aidan's fly ball catch

This was my first baseball game and I caught a fly ball when a big boy hit a fly ball and I caught it. I stole a base and I made it safe to home base two times. The other team was big and chunky. My white baseball pant were nice and dirty but my mummy got them clean again. I didn't wear my penis protector because it is creepy, but I almost got a ball in my penis but I was lucky.

Today I went to a book festival and learned how to draw a book, and then I bought a comic book. It was about super bad guys and super heroes. First it seemed super boring but then it got funner and funner.

I can turn my front tooth all the way around. My mum is soooo grossed out.

The Explorers - Tye, Aidan and Lennard

Eh, um, let me think...Lennard came over to play yesterday and stayed for dinner. Yeah! And Tante - did you really find out, is it a skunk or Cole?
Anyway, we made pizza and after we went out to play. We spied on little girls. And, uh, we played with the steps.
Today the ice cream shop opened! Mommy has never been so happy. And I had a milkshake and you didn't.
Cole, how was the helicopter? What kind was it? Was it fun?
That blue person is Lennard. He is one of my best friends. He is on my baseball team.
That little person is Tye. He is a bit of a noodle but sometimes he is nice and cuddley and a little bit mean.

Army museum

This is a picture of soldiers I took when I went to the army museum a few weeks ago.

They are awesome.

Today I went swimming with pappa, and jumped from the diving board and went on the slide and I went under water. After swimming I had a Kit-kat. And then we went home and I watched an episode of Ben-10.

Then I played with Lego for a little bit.

Afterwards me and pappa played baseball. I hit a ball over the road, it was out of the park.

We came back home and played some more Lego and watched TV. Then I had dinner and now I'm going to bed.

This is a picture of me at the airport when I was doing an airplane game. I was picking up mommy, she went to Edinburgh. Now she is sick.

And we ate airplane pancakes and I played in the playground. Mommy got me Lego keychain with feet that light up and a t-shirt.

Today I went to Lennard's party and I got a little Lego man. They ate fricandel and I hate that so I had my own sandwiches. And I swimmed. The cake was disgusting - yucky. 

Tante, I heard you have a skunk under your house! Are you sure it just isn't Cole being stinky? Or me from far away?

Tye says - Rashida poured honey on my head. I said - Ik wil het niet! (I don't want that!). Pappa washed my hair today because mommy is sick and now the bears won't eat me!

The Soldier

This is a soldier I drew at school. I wanted to draw an old-fashioned American soldier, from when they were fighting the Red Coats.

I just called my brother a butt-brain because he has a brain in the place of a butt and the butt is in the place of the brain. 

Today I made a little cup out of clay at school. Noah came to play. I went to swimming lessons and now I am acting like a lame brain and watching Ed, Edd and Eddie on TV.

This is in the morning when mommy dropped the egg on the floor. She was making American pancakes. And uh, mommy does not use her brain. She was walking and dropped the egg on the floor!

I went to the movie to watch ASTRO BOY and I ate pancakes for breakfast and had a blue drink at the movies and now I have some broken bones - just kidding.

Tomorrow I am going to get a new Blue Birds baseball uniform with pappa and go mini golfing and going to have lots of fun.

And now Aidan is going to get some broken bones, I must say ( he is playing with my huge exercise ball).

Last night we had a party at school and I was dancing at the disco. Our is scool 55 years old and that is why we had a party. I was eating norwegian waffles (mommy made them) and fooling around with my friend Noah. That was all I did.

I'm tired from staying up last night and I'm going to bed.

The hanging shoe tree. I went with mommy to the Film Festival to see Fantastic Mr. Fox and outside the skateboard shop I saw a tree full with shoes. 2 trees actually. Running shoes and old shoes. It was really weird, I didn't know that shoes growed on trees!

The movie was super great. And I got new shoes, super blue VANS.

Today at day care I played with Phinneus and Lennard and we were making a hut from blankies and pillows.

Diploma day

It was not hard, it was super easy. And we had to do something with balloons, swimming with them in our hands. I needed to swim with clothes and afterwards they took a picture of me. Then I needed to swim naked (almost). I had to dive and swim through the hole, and then swim on my back. It was all easy and then I got my A diploma.

Today I went to get a haircut, and then we went to boring Rotterdam and had super yummy ice cream at Hagen Daz.

On Wednesday I will continue with my B diploma.

I went to Noah's birthday party and we went mini golfing at Scheveningen and it was like pirate golfing. I had a chocolate milkshake at McDonals and the others had cheeseburgers - yuck! And all the kids except me had cola zero. My mommy won't let me drink cola.

I am feeling sick, I have a tummy ache. I went back to school today and yesterday some boy threw up in the jacket area and that is everything. Now I am dying. Bye!

Aidan is wet. I had to swim with my clothes on for my A diploma. It was a special class. It was slimey in my shirt and in my shoes. And I was sinking almost, sinking and sinking. And I needed to float on my back and that was scary. My shirt was making me feel like muddery slimey with snot on it, like I had snot on my skin. It was also puffing up like an air balloon.

Tye had like a little boo-boo and it was like a little tiny hole but it did not go through his hand. A little bit of blood.

I am really serious, I don't know what to say.

This is me running with people. We were running to get money for school. I ran 16 laps. I just ran and ran. (aside from mom - aren't you glad you didn't sponsor $10 a lap Uncle Peter?).
I went swimming today and after I got a little paper and on the paper it said I can swim for my diploma! I am excited. (He will be taking his exam on the 30th).
I got 4 euro from the tooth fairy and I am going to save it for something big and nice.

Stinkypigs second loose tooth gone

When I was eating my ricecake with cheese and I was feeling my tooth, and then I pulled on it and I had the tooth in my hand. I hope that the toothfairy will come tonight and I will get money, money, money...

Today I was playing with my friend Kees who I haven't seen in a long time, and he had a really weird necklace and a supershiny hat. We were playing with Playmobil and listening to music. And we were fighting a little bit (just playing).

fireworks, the pink firework

I took this picture on Fireworks Eve - New Years Eve. I was watching the big fireworks with my pappa. I was wearing special glasses that protect your eyes from those fireworks who come to burn you in little black crumbs.

This week I got my picture taken for my Norwegian passport and I was totally bored. I had a Happy Meal and I got Theodore in it - from the Chipmunks.

This was taken at a gas station in Norway, on the way to Bestemors house. And the elkhound was barking at me and I got sick and tired of it.

Today I went to a play and it was a little bit funny and totally boring. It was about medieval stuff. And at the play I was tooting and tooting and tooting.
Yesterday I tried skating and today I ate popcorn.

I am learning to ski and I fell sometimes. And I ate waffles! It was cold and I went super fast when I went down. And it gave me the heebie-jeebies. I had a super heebie-jeebie time. And that is everything.
